Live counters on the home page (how far you have travelled since you arrived) are not included here.

The site is organised by distance from you, in 7 realms:

- [You are here](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/you.md): Your motion through space, the stardust you are made of, and what passes through you every second.
- [Earth and Moon](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/earth-and-moon.md): The thin shell of near space: the people living up there, everything in orbit, and what falls in.
- [The Sun and its worlds](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/solar-system.md): Our star and its weather, the planets, the rocks we watch, and the craft we sent out.
- [Stars](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/stars.md): The nearest stars, the light in your sky, and the birth and death of stars everywhere.
- [The Milky Way](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/milky-way.md): Our galaxy: its hundreds of billions of stars, the black hole at its heart, and our long orbit around it.
- [Galaxies](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/galaxies.md): Andromeda falling toward us, the trillions beyond, and the most violent events in nature.
- [The cosmos](https://www.theuniversecounts.com/cosmos.md): Its age, its growth, what it is made of, how it began and how it may end.
